OgStar Reading™: Early Reader offers students from pre-K to 3rd grade a thorough and engaging 35-lesson literacy program based on the renowned Orton-Gillingham method.

Students will engage in activities that focus on:

 <li>Systematic/synthetic phonics</li>
 <li>Multisensory sound/symbol connections</li>
 <li>Audio-visual-tactile reading and writing of sight words</li>
 <li>Oral reading of phonetically-controlled words and sentences</li>
 <li>Finger tracing and writing of syllables, words, and sentences</li>
 <li>Oral reading fluency exercises</li>
</ul>

OgStar guides students through an immersive reading journey complete with interactive mini-games and incentives aimed at maintaining motivation and involvement. This app, OgStar Reading, is backed by a patent-pending technology offering handwriting recognition feedback, speech recognition feedback, audio-visual alignment, voiceover correction guidance, and integrated word pronunciation functions.

The app provides data tracking capabilities for parents and educators to monitor student performance and development over time. This engaging, multisensory literacy tool supports learners of all ages in independently fostering evidence-based literacy skills, aligning with the research-backed guidelines recommended by the National Reading Panel for effective reading instruction.
